As the owner of a business named American Veteran Productions I have multiple projects that I am working on right now and one of those projects I am working on is a music song I have finished that is called:
"Soldiers Do Cry"
I have hundreds of musical songs that I am working on right now, and different video productions that I am working on.
Each project has a different target group and some of the target groups include:
Music Song Publishers
Musical Singers
Radio DJ's
Movie Directors
Book Publishers
My business is up and running and I will spend time soon GOD willing and CHRIST willing making a new web-site with the help of word-press and others!

WOW!
One web-site that I do use a lot is the following:
1. http://wordpress.org/
1. Why are they effective?
Word-press offers new designers of websites the ability to quickly upload brand new business store fronts on the internet.
2. What specific principles of good design do they include and why?
Word-press made the wise business decision of going with free of charge services in hopes that a larger company would later on down the line buy them out because they were generating so much web-traffic.
3. What makes you come back again?
Word-Press is one of the few sites for brand new web-page designers that has built in templates that makes it kind of simple to upload a new web-site for your business within a few hours.
4. What could be improved? As an American Veteran that served 8 years in the US ARMY most companies provide only lip-service thank you's to American Veterans and deep-down they do not care about the lives of American Veterans so free advertising for the sites of American Veterans would help out the reputation of their business because as of right now word-press along with most other business groups in America belong in Europe because they only think about themselves and the profits they want to make for the year of 2013.
Another site that I do try to visit at least once a month is the following:
http://www.feedthechildren.org
1. They are effective at feed the children because they have the right cause and even with a bad web-site the right cause will help out a charity or a business to get support.
2. They have a simple design at the feed the children charity that works for them and you find out quickly on their site how to donate so that children do not live a life wihout food.
3. I did first visit their site when I was in Nashville, Tennessee on about the 20th of June 2009 and I saw an info-commerical on televison and they made me feel ashamed of myself because I can't believe that we have hungry children in America so I have been visiting their site monthly for about the last four years and if the democrats and republicans would stop ruining our lives and our economy I would donate more to the feed the children charity.
4. They need to do nothing different at feed the children in regards to their web-site but they do need a new spokesperson:
me!

WOW!
How does design, aesthetics and branding impact your reaction to the websites?
As an adult in America that is 41 years old that has been paying taxes since 1985 over the last 28 years, I could care-less about the design and the aesthetics of a company's web-site.
As an American tax-payer and a believer in Almighty GOD and Jesus Christ there is only a few things I ask myself before buying on a company's web-site:
how much is the product and is the product made in America or not and have they ever been loyal to me after years of being a buyer and who are their owners and what do their owners stand for?
Choose two of the following websites and identify at least three potential problems for visitors.
I did visit the following site at:
http://tectorch.com
They have a lot of information on their site and I found out quickly how to get in touch with them if I needed to so I approve of their site and I did not notice any huge problems the web-site had and only a knit-picker would say there site has huge problems and I will offer up only a few suggestions for them:
1.They don't have a shopping cart feature to order online.
2.They have no live chat function.
3.The front page is a little cluttered.
I also did visit the site at:
http://www.swagelok.com/
Here are three things they can work on:
1. Like the site above at www.tectorch.com www.swagelok.com has no live chat.
2. They might want to think about changing colors to make it easier to read.
3. I did look for a third thing wrong with their site but I did not find it because they have a solid over-all business site that is expensive to keep up to date daily in the year of 2013.
Choose two and identify what they have done right.
I did take a look at the following site at:
http://www.gforceracecars.com/
1. Right away at the top of the site you find out how to contact them if you want to do business with them.
2. On the front page of the website they have a form you can fill out to send them a question that you have.
I did also take a look at the following site:
http://www.richsoil.com/raising-chickens.jsp
1.Right away on their site on the front page if you scroll-down on the page they have live videos about what they are talking about and I am a huge fan of live videos.
2. Also they have a link on their site to a list of pod-casts that they have made in regards to a lot of different topics.

Business In America
Have you ever experienced difficulty communicating with a business?
If I only would have had the Internet in 1989 when I was a High School Senior at Del Mar High School in San Jose, California but sadly for my generation the Internet was only in the development stages in 1989, and this caused all kinds of problems trying to communicate with a business group.
The phone was around and fax machines were getting more advanced in 1989 over 21 years ago but for the most part all kinds of problems did arise because my generation was not raised with the Internet and e-mail.
Most types of business meetings when I was a Senior at UC Berkeley in 1993 were face to face business meetings because in 1993 even at UC Berkeley the internet had not exploded yet as the world-wide standard of communication that it is now.
I have never had a problem communicating with a business ever since the internet came out because now with the phone and the fax and the internet it is simple to contact a firm and send key documents to them or your resume.
Would social media have made it easier to get noticed or get your problem solved?
Like I stated above ever since the internet has taken over as the world-wide standard as a communication device I have never had a problem with trying to contact a business that I wanted to try and do business with but as far as getting the business that is sadly not always fun because of all the laws and regulations and imports that are in America but that topic I will save for another blog.
If not, have you ever had a positive experience communicating with a business through social media?
When I was in Iraq on about the 28th of July 2006 over 7 years ago I did contact a company named Ariat that sells country and western gear and boots and I explained to them that I was on a US ARMY deployment and they were nice enough to send me a few shirts and a nice jacket because they have respect for American Veterans.
